Getting Results: Access and Delivery of Quality Education Services (GRADES Project)
The Getting Results: Access and Delivery of quality Education Services (GRADES) project is a five-year initiative designed to increase participation of girls and boys from pre-primary to elementary grades across all districts of Punjab, while strengthening reading proficiency in primary grades. The project combines major classroom construction (5,438 new classrooms) with a set of seven Performance-Based Conditions (PBCs) focused on enrollment expansion, improved learning materials, ECCE quality, teacher training, formative assessment, and effective school financing. Technical assistance complements these reforms to ensure evidence-based decision-making, strong implementation systems, and sustainable improvements in teaching and learning outcomes.
