Programme Director PMIU-PESRP Omer Iftikhar Sherazi visited Government Girls Primary School Shehzada, Lahore to review post-winter holidays school readiness.

Monitoring & Implementation Unit (PMIU-PESRP). During the visit, the Programme Director PMIU-PESRP briefed the Honourable Secretary on key initiatives and ongoing projects focused on strengthening education delivery across Punjab.

Parliamentary Secretary, Women Development Department, Ms. Salma Sadia Temur inaugurated the Day Care Center at PMIU-PESRP today under the Special Initiative of the Honourable Chief Minister Punjab. With this launch, PMIU-PESRP reaffirms its commitment to empowering working women and strengthening workplace well-being across public sector institutions.

Programme Director PMIU-PESRP, Omer Iftikhar Sherazi, visited Government Muslim Public High School, Lodhran, a school supported under the World Bank funded ASPIRE Project.

Behind every successful reform are the voices that guide it. Under the Global Partnership for Education funded and UNICEF supported TALEEM Programme, the mission engaged directly with teachers and students to understand what worked well and what needs improvement. Through honest conversations and focused interviews, the team gathered insights straight from the classroom.

Programme Director PMIU-PESRP, Omer Iftikhar Sherazi, visited Government Girls High School, Dunyapur, Lodhran today. He reviewed ECCE classrooms, interacted with teachers and young learners, and observed how ECCE kits, age-appropriate furniture, and learning corners are enhancing early learning.

The Honourable Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat chaired a review meeting on the School Meal Programme.

Programme Director PMIU-PESRP, Mr. Omer Iftikhar Sherazi, conducted a surprise visit to Government Girls Primary School Dholanwal, Band Road, Lahore, today, a school that currently enrolls 467 students and has 8 primary teachers.

The PMIU-PESRP team came together to welcome Mr. Omer Iftikhar Sherazi as the new Programme Director, PMIU-PESRP, and to bid farewell to Mr. Imtiaz Shahid Gondal, former Programme Director, PMIU-PESRP.
