System Transformation Grant (STG)
The System Transformation Grant (STG) is a four-year initiative being implemented across all districts of Punjab to improve participation and learning outcomes for girls and boys at the pre-primary and primary levels, while strengthening remedial learning at the middle level. The program supports expansion of Early Childhood Education, inclusion of out-of-school children, disability-inclusive infrastructure, teacher professional development, improved assessment systems, and stronger data-driven governance. By embedding reforms within government systems and prioritizing foundational literacy and numeracy, the STG aims to drive sustainable, system-wide improvements in teaching, learning, and equity across Punjab’s school system.
